John Deere 1700 Six-Row Planter

The little farmer will have fun planting corn with this JD 1700 planter!

Push the planter's hitch pin plunger down and slide the hitch over the drawbar on the tractor. Raise the planter up on the head lands and lower the planter to plant the corn. Pivot the marker arms down to make the site line. See how good you can follow the line and keep the corn rows straight.

The diecast frame has plastic row units that float up and down to match the contour of the ground. Your child can remove the box lids to fill the hoppers with 'seed' and fertilizer.

A good planter, built to withstand playing in gravel and sand. Markers can be a little delicate because they snap on and off but you dont need to use them. The back is plastic but very durable. The hitch is better than any other hitch, it holds and dosn't fall off like the traditional hole peg type hitch. Of all the places I've seen these this is the best. I always get my tractors from here. best buys and best shipping.
