Samuel Elias Brett is the engineering technician of the starfreighter that makes a fateful visit to LV-426 in 1979’s Alien. He is meek and quiet among his crew, but when his fellow crew members discover an alien life form, he becomes cautious and resourceful for his team's survival. He is able to help maintain the ship’s struggling systems and improvise a series of electric prods to help hunt the alien before meeting his end in the belly of the ship.
