The body is great as is the color. The wheels are nice, too. But where are the tail lights and parking lights? The lights have been molded along with the body; so, the form is present, but it is a sculpture with no colored plastic. This is a minor flaw; but it should be pointed out that the lights are molded as part of the car. I bought this item because I responded to the "Special Edition" tag. I guess it is special since it comes without lights. Maybe this is supposed to be the "Official, Don't Drive at Night or on the Road Legally" Model. It would be nice if Maisto pointed out that the lights don't exist on this one. Other than that it's a neat Beetle, especially with its vibrant red paint job. If I were to purchase again, I would buy the Welly version. It comes in the same scale and in a red color, and, from the looks of the pictures, it seems to have plastic lights. Also, it's around the same price give or take a dollar.
