The 1959 El Camino™ was available with any full-sized Chevrolet® drivetrain, from a standard six cylinder up to a powerful V8 model. Payload rating ranged from 650–1,150 lb. depending on powertrain and suspension made the El Camino™ the perfect marina/harbor side maintenance/delivery vehicle.
